Fatima Al Zahra Academy was established to address the need for quality Islamic education specifically for sisters of all ages. Named after Fatima Al-Zahra (peace be upon her), the daughter of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), our academy strives to continue her legacy of female scholarship, wisdom, and spirituality.
Our all-female teaching staff comprises certified instructors in Quranic recitation and Arabic language. Many hold ijazahs (traditional teaching certifications) from respected institutions and understand the unique challenges sisters face in pursuing Islamic education. Each teacher is trained to create a supportive, judgment-free learning environment.
Covers Arabic alphabet and pronunciation, vocabulary relevant to daily life, and basic conversational skills for family settings. Duration: 12 weeks with twice weekly sessions and flexible scheduling.
Expanded vocabulary for home, shopping, and travel. Includes grammar essentials for daily communication and reading simple texts and children's stories. Duration: 16 weeks with options for morning or evening classes.
Develops conversation skills for complex topics, reading Islamic texts relevant to sisters, and writing skills for personal expression. Duration: 20 weeks with community practice sessions with fellow students.
